Someone Else’s Shoes – Empathy skills for ages K-5
Empathy is a vital part of healthy communities and learning environments. It’s also a skill that needs to be nurtured and practiced. Imagination Theater’s interactive scenes provide audience members opportunities to try on someone else’s shoes, identify a variety of emotions, make connections with their peers, and demonstrate compassion. Imagination Theater collaborated with Judy Freedman to help students and their families discover that when we walk in someone else’s shoes, we walk together.
